I express myself through words
pictures and fonts all around.
I'm not usually a poet but I thought I'd give it a go.
The stars are invisible here in Texas,
the darkness only hides behind the clouds.
I express myself through Disney
songs and cheer to seek a dream.
The laughter and play of each little princess
the magic of living in each fairy tale.
I express myself through my friends
that stick like glue and don't judge little Rue.
The hunger games lies in my yard and on my sister's dry erase board.
May the Odds be ever in your favor
as I express who I am.
