Emily Dickinson

Emily Dickinson was born December 10th 1830 and died May 15, 1886. She was only 56 years old. She became a famous American poet. In Early 1850 Emily wrote that Amherst is aive with fun this winter... oh, what a great town this is. She was a very important person and we should care about her. one of her poems she wrote was really short. It says My hair is bold like the chestnut burr and my eyes like the sherry in the glass that the guest leaves. It gives you an idea of what is inside of your head and your creativity and imagery.
